Just bought a cannondale off craigslist with one of this guy still installed! Thanks so much for the info. Is there any way to manually turn it off? I'd like to do that rather than leaving it sit for 5 minutes.

Yes, LT, the battery is an LR43. They can be bought at Radio Shack for around $5.00.

I got a speedometer a few days ago and no matter how much I move the sensor and magnet, the speed reading stays at zero. Can you help?

Thanks a million. Going on a 400 mile trip on the oregon Coast with the Boy Scouts. Had to put a new battery in. Bell website was useless. thanks again!
