If you want to play a Game, wii is ok, if you do want to EXERCISE, xavix is the way to go in my opinion. I am not a gamer by any means, so I dont need all of the complicated bells & whistles. I wanted easy to hook up & it was. I wanted ready to go and it is. I wanted a real workout & you better believe it IS! I can set a goal & work off a set number of calories… for me thats what’s gonna motivate me… It was affordable too. Besides, my whole family loves it.

I own both the Xavix and the Wii, and I agree that the Wii is a better deal. Here's are more reasons the Wii is superior:

Wii games are more fun (personal opinion, of course)
Wii has more functionality (web browser, etc.)
Wii can have a maximum of 4 players, Xavix only 2 for most games
If you really want the feel of a bowling ball, golf club, etc., more accessories are available for the Wii.

Of course, the reasons you already sited were the big ones: more Wii games and better graphics. Not to mention more people have heard of and want to play the Wii. We don't ever take out the Xavix any more, but we play the Wii at least a couple of times a week.
